The process of reconciliation in BINETIX® PTM™ is a comparison of financial and accounting balances by transactions for a given period between data and operations performed in the System and imported data XLS file from an external system. The purpose of this process is to help financial and accounting experts regularly to compare cash flows between different systems and services without the need for special integration with PTM. The reconciliation is especially useful in cases where PTM manages cash flows of services external to your organization, as Eurogiro®, MoneyGram® and Western Union®, and you want actively and accurately to monitor for possible deviations, omissions, late transactions and other events related to the synchronization of cash flows between two legal entities. Reconciliation is categorized in this documentation as a reference functionality, as it is most often used for passive comparison of financial information. On the other hand, BINETIX® PTM ™ also enables active reconciliation to be performed, in which, as a result of the comparison, the user can make data corrections to update back into the system database. This functionality is optionally available, is not enabled by default and is not covered in the current documentation. Additionally, you can download this template file, that can be used as a template when importing external data in the process of reconciliation. |
