Changing the requisites of already processed (sent or received) transaction is an action that is considered in good practice to be unusual and risk inflicting. Operational and financial risk in the present case is in the desire for an unexpected replacement of data after they have been already confirmed, approved and which has led to the execution of certain financial operations (cash or cashless). Good practice in these cases requires a second control, by which the change to be implicitly verified and validated. The second control may be exercised by another employee in your organization with a special role - the right to check and confirm changes to money transactions which have already been processed. When managing postal money transactions, for example, the second control is usually carried out by a special unit, which is geographically located elsewhere. |
The basic change functionality requires minimum efforts on behalf of the initiator who wishes to inflict a change in the requisites in postal money transaction. Just select "Change" from the home screen (or from the System menu), specify the desired transaction and press the "Change" button. So far, it has been clarified that changing already processed transaction in PTM is considered a risk operation and requires a second control. Pressing on the "Change" button does not result in an actual action, only marks the transaction for verification. After pressing the button, make the desired changes and write the reason you need to make them in the "Comment" field. By clicking the "Correct the transaction" button you are finally declaring your wish and you have to wait until the second control is completed.
